Kick-Ass

Back in August, Matt posted a review of the script for Matthew Vaughn's adaptation of Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.'s Kick-Ass. While his review wasn't exactly positive, scripts can change and I'd be lying if I didn't say the title it is based off of wasn't entertaining. Today featured the release of the teaser trailer, and we're bringing that to you here. I have to admit, I was entertained by the trailer, as it captures the cutthroat sarcasm of the title along with the no holds barred nature to the humor. Could this end up being a surprise high quality flick? Given those involved, I wouldn't be surprised.
Thanks to Big Shiny Robot for loading this up, and if you all enjoyed this trailer and are curious about what to expect from the movie, please check out Matt's script review here.

I kinda think this is going to flop. I could end up being horribly wrong but I just don't think it looks good at all.
I think its going to be terrible. 0 expectations.
Based off just the teaser trailer, I'm entertained and interested. But it will definitely flop, everything just looks too cheesy, unless it gets some seriously positive buzz.
Also, Matt, you could have read an early draft - that's all I'm saying!
