Timothy Lim's Peter and Venom is Adorable

I suppose that's why whenever a new Calvin and Hobbes homage is created, I usually meet it with smiles and hand claps, and such is certainly the case for Timothy Lim's adorable Peter and Venom. Created for t-shirts over at RedBubble under his moniker ninjaink, Lim has designed for homages replacing Calvin with a young Peter Parker and Hobbes with the alien symbiote that gave him his black suit.
As Lim writes,
Peter and Venom is a syndicated daily comic strip that was written, illustrated, and syndicated from August 1963 to the present. It follows the humorous antics of Peter, a precocious, intelligent, and adventurous boy, and Venom, his brain-eating alien symbiote.Spread across four t-shirts or hoodies (which you can find here, here, here and here), the images are pretty excellent, fully done in Watterson's signature style. While we often see tributes like this (such as Locke and Key v4 #1 or on other t-shirts), they never cease to put smiles on faces.
Check out three more images after the cut, and pat Timothy Lim on the back if you ever get the chance.
