We all know that one of the best parts of any comic convention is the cosplay! I am unfortunately not blessed with the skill of craft, but fortunately a ton of people are and they were out in droves at C2E2. This is a gallery of the weird, the beautiful, and the freaky cosplay that I managed to snag a photo of!

Lots of great takes on Overwatch cosplay, like this Mr. Mercy.
Saffron/Yolanda/Bridget/YoSafBridge/Mrs. Reynolds and her reluctant Browncoat husband Malcolm Reynolds. Firefly is still going strong.
Gotta respect the confidence of a 300 Spartan cosplay.
Ahsoka Tano with beautifully made lekku and montrals.
I love Borderlands cosplay, especially the makeup, and this Mordecai and Tiny Tina combo were among my favorites.
The Bullheaded demon worshiper from the 1% of Archer and Armstrong! So evil!
This Crash Bandicoot was one of my favorites, from the shoes to the many details hidden throughout the costume.
Intricate Doctor Strange is cool, but glowing artifacts are awesome. Shiny!
Dee of the Rat Queens makes for a pretty metal atheist cleric.
King Alistair and Morrigan from Dragon Age.
You've got to respect Doctor Octopus costumes.
Why don't we see more Faith Herbert a.k.a. Zephyr costumes?
This Doctor Strange hand-etched the spellwork into his glowy disc thing.
Ghost Rider is a cool design. This Lady Ghost Rider design may be cooler than the comics.
Movie Star-Lord and Gamora. I think her hair and makeup is actually better than the movie.
My favorite Saga character, Gwendolyn.
Jillian Holtzman ain't afraid of no ghost.
Indiana Jones and friends (and enemies). I can't imagine lugging around that Ark of the Covenant.
The Flash, Hawkgirl, Red Arrow and Green Arrow. Hawkgirl's full wingspan was huge.
This Kaylee from Firefly was picture perfect, down to the smile.
I was so excited when I saw this excellent Bastila Shan, but then she brought out her Darth Revan and I freaked out.
Captain Levi from Attack on Titan with homemade maneuver gear! Also, the ascot is a bold choice.
Mara Jade of the Star Wars EU in her vintage 90s look.
Moana is happy to be here!
Moon Knight wants people to see him coming.
After I took this picture of Revolver Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid 3, they did the glorious Ocelot yowl.
Mama predator with a baby predator!
This Prince Robot from Saga freaked me out. You better believe that the TV was fully functioning.
A terrifying Professor Pyg.
Ramona Flowers from Scott Pilgrim with her giant hammer.
A Quiet/Snake mashup from Metal Gear Solid 5. This guy stayed in character and didn't talk.
Look at KataMarija and her awesome She-Hulk!
There were a couple of Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2 cosplayers, but this one had the Greatest Knife.
This R'as al Ghul told me that as long as he refused to shave, he would hang on to that cape for cons.
Jyn Erso and Cassian Andor from Rogue One abounded. What's up with how much Jyn Erso cosplayers all look like Felicity Jones!?
Of all the Overwatch cosplay I saw, this Roadhog was the most intricate and had the most detailing.
Naked Snake from Metal Gear Solid 3 and Blackwatch Gabriel Reyes from Overwatch. I think those two would actually get along.
Doreen Green, the Unbeatable Squirrel girl. eating nuts and kicking butts.
Another fabulous She Hulk.
Roller Derby Starfire! She skated around the entire con! What do you think her Derby name would be?
Lapis Lazuli, Peridot, and Rose Quartz from Steven Universe. That Lapis blew my mind; blue body paint is so hard to do evenly.
The Will from Saga! If you've got a shaved head, this looks like a comfy costume.
Star-Lord in his OG Guardians of the Galaxy uniform.

Sunfire is not a very represented X-Man, probably because that mask looks so hard to make.
Lots of cool Star Wars cosplay, but this Grand Admiral Thrawn was a highlight. She had a Ysalamiri!
I saw tons of fantastic Wicked and Divine cosplay, like this Persephone, Lucifer, Morrigan, and Baphomet.
And this Lucifer, Baphomet, and Amaterasu!
There weren't a lot of guys dressed as Innana, but this one had the swagger.
A group shot of Wicked and Divine costumes featuring Amaterasu x2, the elusive Woden, the rare Urdr, a couple of Baphomets, Persephone and Morrigan.
I don't think I saw Wednesday or Morticia Addams change facial expression once. Committed to character!
Zero Suit Samus from Metroid with an occasionally glowing helmet.
Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon and Yennefer of Vengerberg are two of the best names and two of the best costumes in all of fantasy. From the Witcher 3.
Rey and Mon Mothma, together at last.

Jaina Hill

Jaina is from New York. She currently lives in Ohio. Ask her, and she'll swear she's one of those people who loves both Star Wars and Star Trek equally. Say hi to her on twitter @Rambling_Moose!
