Guardians of the Galaxy is coming August 1, and July is going to be a celebration of all things Guardians AND a special benefit art month for Bill Mantlo here at Multiversity. All month, we’ll be posting Guardians-related pieces created by some of our favorite artists, and at the end of the month there will be an auction of many of the pieces of original art to help the man who created Rocket Raccoon, Bill Mantlo. It’s going to be an exciting month, but you can help Bill even if you don’t bid on any art. Read more about Bill and his story here, and if you feel moved to donate to Bill yourself, you can do so by clicking here.

Giannis Milonogiannis is late of “Prophet” from Image Comics/Extreme Studios. He is the creator of “Old City Blues,” a webcomic that has been collected into a hardcover collection by Archaia available here. Earlier this year, he released “Selected Ambient Works 11-13,” a huge (356 pages!) PDF of works from his blog, as well as process work, for free as a download (click here to get it). Check out his website, his Tumblr, and follow him on Twitter (@Musashioelegy).

Giannis’s piece will be auctioned off later this summer to benefit Bill Mantlo. Stay tuned for auction information!

If you are a professional artist interested in donating a piece for the auction, please email brian@multiversitycomics.com or david@multiversitycomics.com for more details.
