Welcome to Mignolaversity, Multiversity Comics’ dedicated column for all things Mike Mignola. This Wednesday, “Radio Spaceman: Mission to Numa 4” #1 comes out. For those that don’t know, Radio Spaceman is a character Mignola drew among his 2020 pandemic sketches that were collected in Mike Mignola: The Quarantine Sketchbook. Now Mignola has teamed up with artist Greg Hinkle to bring Radio Spaceman (and a few other characters from The Quarantine Sketchbook) to the comics page. Below, we have a long behind the scenes at Hinkle’s design work for the series, giving you a little taste of what’s to come. Thanks to the folks at Dark Horse Comics for sending these our way, and if you want to see more of Hinkle’s work, you can follow him on Instagram.
