One thing pretty much anyone knows me knows is that I love Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel. When Kelly Sue DeConnick and Dexter Soy relaunched the series, taking the character in an all new direction, back in 2012, that was the comic that allowed me to find a place within comics to exist. Now that DeConnick has confirmed her departure for the series and that Michele Fazekas, Tara Butter and Kris Anka will be taking over after “Secret Wars”, I can feel myself getting hype for the character once more. That’s why I wanted to spotlight this piece by Dima Ivanov of Carol’s new costume as designed by Kris Anka.
