This week’s Art of the Week is running a little late, but it’s been a busy week in the MC offices as we prep for our 2012 in Review segments (which are starting next week). This week on Art of the Week, I cheat a little bit so I can highlight this splendid “Sweet Tooth” commission by Declan Shalvey. The coolest part of it may be the fact that he actually did it FOR Sweet Tooth writer/artist Jeff Lemire. That has to be one hell of an honor, but when you see Declan’s beautiful work, it’s easy to see why Lemire picked him to do it.

More, including another piece from Shalvey, stellar work from James Harren, Ming Doyle, and others are below.

Transportation by James Harren

Two-Face by Ming Doyle

Big by Filipe Andrade

Winter Soldier by Declan Shalvey

Thor by Dan McDaid
