MULTIVERSITY’S FIRST ANNUAL “FORCE COMIC SHOP OWNERS TO ORDER GOD HATES ASTRONAUTS FROM IMAGE COMICS” SUPER COOL CONTEST FOR SUPER COOL PEOPLE!
Greetings! This is Ryan Browne (“Manhattan Projects,” “Bedlam,” “Smoke and Mirrors”) letting y’alls know that my highly questionable web-comic, “God Hates Astronauts” is finally coming to comic shops courtesy of IMAGE COMICS–AND I NEED YOUR HELP. Ending Friday the 13th (CREEPY!) if you go into your local comic book store and physically, or mentally force an employee into ordering GHA, you and the store will get an awesome “God Hates Astronauts” prize pack including original sketches, stickers, bookmarks and if you are really good, the first edition GHA hardcover!
All you need to do is get photographic evidence of how you got all up in the face of your LCS employee and send it to me at ryan@godhatesastronauts.com. The more creative the picture the better the prizes. I want to see you forcing that employee against their will to order GHA–REALLY SOCK IT TO EM! Please include the previews guide somehow in the photo as well (AUG130620, Page 210). The first twenty submissions will win a sketch from Ryan Browne (the creator) for both the customer and the store and your photo will be posted on Multiversity and Ryan Browne’s blog. The crazier the better!
At the end, I will pick the five best entries and they will win the ultimate GHA prize pack! It will include two fancy sketches, stickers, bookmarks, posters and two signed copies of the God Hates Astronauts limited first edition hardcover, one for the winner and one for the store!
