Yesterday, we exclusively revealed the cover to “Minor Threats” #3, a Dark Horse series co-written by actor, comedian, and serious comics fan Patton Oswalt (Young Adult, Ratatouille). This is not an uncommon occurrence; more and more actors have taken to writing a comics series. Maybe this is because they, like Oswalt, have been comic fans their whole lives and really have a story to tell featuring one of their favorite characters. Maybe this is a way to get a proof of concept for a project they’d like to turn into a film or television series. Or maybe, a meeting with the right person led to an unexpected opportunity.

Regardless, we’ve put together a list of some notable comics by actors, and we want to know which is your favorite? Which stand out above the novelty and turn in a story that is truly memorable and remarkable? Vote in our Reader Poll, and check back on Monday for the results!
