Reader Poll: What is Your Favorite Autumnal Comic?

Depending on where you live in the world, autumn may be a reality or just something you see in film and television. Autumn is the most sublime season for those of us blessed to have access to it, though it feels often times like it is shrinking year by year, with summer lasting longer and winter approaching quicker. But that’s sort of what makes autumn magical, too. It’s a season of longing and attempting to hold tight to things that are slipping away. Put differently, it is the perfect season to set fiction in.

And there are a fair number of comics that do just that. We polled our staff for their favorite comics either set during or evoking the fall, and narrowed the list down to these ten that, for whatever reason, scream autumn for us. This is not a list of Halloween comics, but rather comics that put you, emotionally, among falling leaves, pumpkin spice, and light coats.

So, vote in our poll, and check back on Monday for the results!

    By and | Apr 12, 2024 | Reader Poll

Much like we did when the first three were announced, we are interested in our readers’ take on the next three ‘From the Ashes’ X-Men titles. This is a massive reset over the past four years of the Krakoa era that was shepherded in by Jonathan Hickman. This lineup seems a little less purposely cohesive, […]
