This week saw the release of “Strange Adventures” #1, the latest DC maxi-series from Tom King. King, who burst on the scene in the ‘New 52’ co-writing “Grayson” with Tim Seeley, has become one of the more polarizing writers within the Multiversity camp. Some, like our founder Matthew Meylikhov, are unabashed fans. Others, like the co-hosts of the DC3cast, enjoyed his early work, but have soured on a lot of it as of late.
But it’s hard to argue with the guy’s success. He’s the guy right now that is most likely to get crossover readers to pick up a DC comic, and his books sell quite well, even when they are not critical darlings.
So, only counting his series (and not including “Strange Adventures,” as we are only one issue in), we want to know which of his works stands out as your favorite. Is it the ‘war is hell in space’ of “The Omega Men?” The ‘superhero wearing the suburban mask’ of “The Vision?” The “endless dialogue boxes saying ‘Bat’ and ‘Cat'” of “Batman?”
Vote in the poll, and then check back on Monday for the results!
