Reader Poll: Who is the Best “Saint” in Comics?

Today is All Saints’ Day for many Christians around the world. The day celebrates all those in heaven, and its alternate name, All Hallows Day, lead to what we call Halloween. But we’re not here to talk about Holy Days of Obligation…we’re here to talk about comics!

There are more than a couple characters who have “Saint” in their name in the history of comics. Not all of them are household names, but they represent an interesting cross section of comics history: a couple of Batman adjacent characters, a dead X-Statix member, a member of a color Lantern Corps, a “Preacher” character, a manga character, some who got in on a technicality, and some forgotten randos. All we’re missing is an obscure Green Hornet villain and…wait, we’ve got one of those, too.

Which of these is your favorite? Vote in our Reader Poll, and then check back on Monday, when we reveal the results. Enjoy your weekend!

    By and | Apr 12, 2024 | Reader Poll

Much like we did when the first three were announced, we are interested in our readers’ take on the next three ‘From the Ashes’ X-Men titles. This is a massive reset over the past four years of the Krakoa era that was shepherded in by Jonathan Hickman. This lineup seems a little less purposely cohesive, […]
