Reader Poll: Does comiXology’s Absorption into Amazon’s Marketplace Change Your Relationship with Digital Comics?

From when Multiversity started in 2009 to today, the embrace of digital comics has grown in leaps and bounds. A huge part of that has been the continued growth and refining of comiXology, both as a platform and an app. The comiXology interface is easy to use and optimized for comic usage. It is also going away.

Shortly, comiXology will migrate over to the standard Amazon marketplace, and most of what folks like about the interface will, seemingly, be lost. Sure, you can still get comics there in the same basic way, but it won’t be the comics-forward shopping experience that its standalone marketplace offers.

We’ve been discussing this in our Slack, and all of our comiXology users are skeptical about the change over, and some have expressed a desire to find a different way to engage with digital comics when the change fully happens. We want to know if you agree: will the change affect how you interact with digital comics?
