Last week, as part of Doctor Who‘s 60th anniversary celebrations, we asked you to name your favorite incarnation of the Doctor, leading to a victory for David Tennant’s Doctor(s). Now, we turn our attention to the show’s villains. The Daleks. The Cybermen. The Master. The Weeping Angels. These are simply a few of the many great foes who’ve plagued the Doctor and their friends over the past six decades, but which one is the scariest?
Personally, I’ve always loved the Cybermen most, because they don’t want to kill you, but turn you into one of them. However, they’re admittedly a third wheel next to the Master/Missy, the Moriarty to the Doctor’s Holmes, or the title character’s oldest and greatest enemies, the Daleks, the iconic cyclopean cyborgs most responsible for turning the show into a phenomenon when it began.
