With the SAG-AFTRA strike underway, a lot’s been said about how next week’s San Diego Comic-Con will place the emphasis back on the “comic” in “comic-con.” However, the convention has always been the home of the Eisner Awards, honoring the previous year’s best comics, and this year sees six nominees competing for Best Continuing Series: “Daredevil,” “The Department of Truth,” “Killadelphia,” “The Nice House on the Lake,” “Nightwing,” and “She-Hulk.” With that in mind, we want to know: which series should win the award?
All of these comics have been previously nominated for an Eisner, except for the latest iteration of “She-Hulk,” which launched ahead of the show in January 2022. So tell us: does the newcomer deserve to be an upstart, or is “The Nice House on the Lake,” which won Best New Series last year, still the best? Or should the award finally go to Zdarsky and Checchetto’s “Daredevil,” or Taylor and Redondo’s “Nightwing”? Vote in our poll below, and be sure to check back for the results on Monday!
