Reader Poll: What is Your Favorite Hulk Story?

In case you have been living under Dwayne Johnson, we are pretty huge fans of Al Ewing’s “Immortal Hulk” storyline. It has won our best ongoing series vote for two years running, and is never far from the conversation around our Slack. But today, we ask what is your favorite Hulk story of all time?

The Hulk is a tricky character to write well because a great Hulk story might be full of very little dialogue from the titular character. Or, he may be a genius at the moment. Or, maybe he’s on an alien planet. Or, maybe he’s split between his human form and his Hulk form. There’s no real pattern to what works for a Hulk story, which is what makes each new inversion interesting, but it also means that there are a lot of stumbles along the way.

We’ve included “Immortal Hulk” in our list, but that’s not where the story begins or ends. We’ve got stuff from the very beginning with Jack Kirby and Stan Lee to Greg Pak’s fabulous run, to some of Peter David’s iconic work with Bruce. There is stuff in here that is funny, stuff that is tragic, and stuff that is just big, dumb fun.

So, vote in our Reader Poll, and check back on Monday for the results!
