This month, we are celebrating the 70th birthday of “Peanuts,” Charles Schulz’s legendary comic strip, and one of the most important pieces of sequential art ever produced. While many may be more familiar with the (excellent) animated specials, “Peanuts” was a comic first, and in our eyes, foremost.
After 70 years of being in the ether, some “Peanuts” characters are simply ingrained into pop culture. Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and Lucy van Pelt are about as well known as any comic character in the world, including Superman and any other superhero you could throw out. We want to know which one is your favorite, dear reader.
Do you want to cling to Linus like a security blanket? Are you a virtuoso like Schroeder? Are you a real head and know that there is both a Patty and a Peppermint Patty? Well, vote in our Reader Poll, and check back on Monday for the results!
