Reader Poll: What is Your Favorite Comic Set on Halloween?

Six days from now, kids ’round the world will be ringing doorbells and yelling “Trick or Treat,” in hopes that us, the suckers, will give them free candy. It is the best day of the year.

It is also a day that has a fair amount of comics history. Outside of the fact that you’ll see dozens of kids dressed as superheroes wandering the streets in search of Snickers bars, there are a bunch of comics set on and around Halloween. Our staff has chosen some of our favorites, and we want to know which is your favorite?

Some, like “52” #25 feature Halloween as a setting, but not much of a plot point. Some, like “My Favorite Thing is Monsters” see Halloween as just one day in a longer story. Others, like “Spider-Gwen” #13 make the holiday a major aspect. We’re not picky here, and so these all fit our criteria.

So, vote in our poll, and then let us know in the comments if we forgot your favorite Halloween comic. Check back on Monday for the results!

    By and | Apr 12, 2024 | Reader Poll

Much like we did when the first three were announced, we are interested in our readers’ take on the next three ‘From the Ashes’ X-Men titles. This is a massive reset over the past four years of the Krakoa era that was shepherded in by Jonathan Hickman. This lineup seems a little less purposely cohesive, […]
