Reader Poll: What Should be Laura Kinney’s Codename?

As announced earlier this week, Laura Kinney will no longer be referred to as Wolverine in the Marvel Universe. With the impending return of Logan, it appears that she will be reverting back to her X-23 moniker, both as the title of her book and her in the field codename. But should she?

Comics seem less and less willing to let characters change their names as they grow older. Gar Logan has been Beast Boy for 30+ years now, even though he has a perfectly good alternate name (Changeling) just sitting around. X-23 feels like a step backwards for Laura, who has become one of Marvel’s most engaging characters over the past few years. She’s more today than she was when she was called X-23, and her name should reflect that.

So, if you were Akira Yoshida CB Cebulski, and you could dictate her name going forward, what would you want her to be called? Vote in our reader poll, and let us know why you made that choice in the comments!
