Reader Poll: Which “Marvel Comics” #1000 ‘Story’ Was Your Favorite?

Wednesday saw the release of one of the biggest comics in recent memory: “Marvel Comics” #1000. Some, like our Robbie Pleasant, saw the book as a great celebration along with a compelling, overarching story. Others, including some on our staff, saw it as a disjointed mess. There are also very legitimate gripes about characters and creators not included, and especially legitimate gripes about the lack of diversity from the creative teams.

On a personal note, it seems a bit insulting to have so few creators from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s, many of whom are still working, not a part of the issue, in favor of very talented creators with far less history or import with Marvel. The list is incredibly long, and I’m sure every person’s list is different, but we all have a person or two we were shocked to not see included.

That said, it would be hard to argue that the issue was without some truly great one-page pieces. So, we want to know, which page was your favorite? Vote in our poll, and check back on Monday to see which was our readership’s favorite piece.

Apologies in advance for any typos in either the titles or creators, this is a lot of folks to get right!
