When Chadwick Boseman died in 2020, the world lost an incredible actor and, by all accounts, a truly decent human being. The fact that the Marvel Cinematic Universe lost its T’Challa is the least important piece of the story of a man losing his life to cancer. Marvel/Disney made the decision to not recast T’Challa, and want to preserve Boseman’s legacy in the MCU, while continuing to tell more Wakandan stories.
Due to the nature of the title of Black Panther, we know that the title will not die with T’Challa, and we also know that Marvel is not stopping its plans for further Wakanda stories, and so someone else will need to take up the mantle of Black Panther in the MCU. We want to know which character makes the most sense to you for that legacy to be bestowed upon. Who do our readers want to be the next Black Panther?
