Today marks Earth Day, the annual reminder of how much we need to look after the planet that we, overall as a species, take for granted, and are effectively terraforming against ourselves and other life. And on that inspiring note, we wanted to know: who is your favorite plant-based DC or Marvel Comics character?
We imagine Swamp Thing, Poison Ivy, and Groot will be the frontrunners in the results here, but this is a good opportunity to read up on characters you may not be familiar with, or did not know have florakinesis/chlorokinesis/botanokinesis (or whichever word you prefer) in the source material. (I certainly didn’t know Alec Holland had a daughter before this, or what Black Tom Cassidy’s powers even were.)
