On Friday, we asked what 80s television series you’d like to see become a comic book. We had quite the list of potential properties, from animated series (Silver Hawks) to comedies (Perfect Strangers), but one stood out among the rest, getting nearly 1 in 3 votes.

Quantum Leap wiped the floor with the competition, garnering 30.6% of the vote. Golden Girls came in second with 12.2%, and Unsolved Mysteries coming in third with 8.2%. There was a three way tie for fourth, with The A-Team, Married…with Children, and Remington Steele.

So, that means that later this year, you’ll see a Quantum Leap We Want Comics piece written by our senior editor Brian. There was already one “Quantum Leap” series in 1991 from Innovation Publishing, a now-defunct company that published a lot of licensed comics. How will Brian take the series? Will Sam truly never leap home? Will Al find him again? Will Gushy still have that ridiculous name? Find out later this year!
