Reader Poll: What Was 2021’s Best OGN?

This year, like every year, there were so many great original graphic novels released. As we mentioned in our Best OGN writeup, we simply look at the term ‘graphic novel’ as a format; there can be superhero OGNs, crime OGNs, etc. It’s just a way to designate the original format of its release. And so, our list of OGNs runs the gamut from autobiography to licensed comic to hard boiled noir. We think that all of these are very, very worthy of your time.

And for those who have already read a few of these, which is your favorite? Is there one book that stood out among the rest?

If you have not read any of these, we would strongly encourage you to take a look at one or more of them. Especially for those who don’t dabble in OGNs very often, it is a totally different experience than ready a floppy, and might make you a fan of a new creator or two.
