If his collaborator Liam Sharp is to be believed, at least for now, “The Green Lantern” will be Grant Morrison’s last work at DC Comics. This ends a relatively consistent streak of 15 years where Morrison has been doing work for the company, and more than 30 years since he started writing for the publisher. To say that Morrison is one of the most important writers in modern DC history is an understatement, and the period between 2007 and 2011, in particular, was prime Morrison time at DC, rivaled only by Geoff Johns in terms of influence.
If this is the end of Morrison’s DC tenure, we want to know what our readers consider his best work at DC Comics. Some of the selected works below are set outside of the DC Universe, but since they were published under the DC/Vertigo banner, we are including them here. We couldn’t include everything (Sorry “Seaguy” and 8 issues of “The Flash” stans), but we think we have a good cross section of Morrison’s work here.
