Earlier this week, our Chris Egan looked back at “Uzumaki,” a modern horror classic by Junji Ito. Ito is no one-trick pony, delivering horror manga at an incredibly high level for 30 years at this point. While some of it has been adapted to film (like the aforementioned “Uzumaki”), Ito’s manga is cinematic in its original form, and is some of the most accessible manga to new readers (it is often what I’ve recommended to folks not sure where to start with manga).
So, as we are gearing up for Halloween in 8 days, it seemed like as good of a time as any to ask our readers what their favorite Ito work is? If you’re an Ito fan, vote in the poll below.
