In our continuing series of Reader Polls based on being cooped up inside, this week, we turn our attention to Amazon Prime. This service was, initially, the hardest one to drum up comics-related content on. In fact, there are only a handful of comics-first series on the platform, with The Boys and The Tick being the two standout options.
But if we’re willing to dig a little creative stretching of the rules, there are quiet a few series that would likely appeal to our readers. Want a goofy superhero comedy? The Greatest American Hero, aka the show that George Costanza parodied the theme song of for his answering machine, is on the service. Want some anime? Robotech, Pokemón, and Sonic X are all there, too.
Hey, Neil Gaiman wrote comics! His Good Omens is an Amazon Prime series! Plus, there are a fair amount of science fiction shows that made the leap to comics, from Star Trek to Farscape.
So, forgive our rule bending and vote! Then, make sure to check back in on Friday for the full results.
