Reader Poll: What is the Best Long-Running ‘Rebirth’ Title?

This week, “Deathstroke” took its final bow under the pen of Priest after 50 issues (plus an annual, a ‘Rebirth’ special, and some crossovers). It is a remarkable achievement, and will likely be a wonderfully remembered series, years after it wraps. It also marks the beginning of the end for the six ‘Rebirth’ titles that fit this criteria: at least 40 issues and with the same (with few exceptions) writer(s) throughout. Only three titles that have either ended or changed creative teams, also fit this bill, and two of these series wrap up their current stories in January. Only “The Flash,” “Batman Beyond,” and “Red Hood: Outlaw” will remain.

Those may sound arbitrary, but with the way comics are collected, this more or less guarantees between 6-10 volumes of trade paperbacks. 40-50 seems right in the range when a run is considered ‘long,’ and given extra import due to that. Of these nine runs, there are clearly four or five that are already considered among the best of the past decade or so.

But we don’t really care about the critical consensus at the moment. We want to know which of these books is your personal favorite. Vote in our Reader Poll, and then check back on Monday for the results!
