We are already halfway through October, the spookiest month of the year. With Halloween less than two weeks away, forgive us if our thoughts turn to horror comics. Lately and, perhaps, surprisingly, one of the most consistent sources of horror comics in the last half decade have been from Archie. Starting with “Afterlife with Archie,” the publisher has been turning out horror comics of various stripes, from the aforementioned “Afterlife” zombie comic, to “Vampironica” (three guesses as to what kind of horror that is), to “Jughead: The Hunger,” a werewolf joint, to the recently adapted to Netflix “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.”
While the line will expand next year with “Blossoms 666” and a crossover between the Jughead and Veronica books, we’re interested in which of these current titles you are most digging. While the publication frequency is not that of some other series, the quality and care put into these titles is impressive, and we hope you share our enthusiasm about the titles.
