This week, we spent a lot of time talking about how much we really enjoyed the new “Slaughterhouse Five” graphic novel by Ryan North and Albert Monteys. The original novel is such a classic, that it must’ve been daunting to try to add anything new to the already classic text, but North and Monteys did a fantastic job. That got us, as a staff, thinking about what novels that we would like to see make the transition to comics.
Now, obviously, this is a very subjective reader poll, even by our standards. Various members of our staff all tossed in a suggestion, which features multiple genres and styles. Obviously, you, our dear reader, may not agree with the books we selected. But, we feel that these books represent an interesting cross section of our tastes, and all would make for interesting comics.
