This past Wednesday, Riverdale took an interesting turn by initiating a 7-year jump into the future. The change, presumably permanent, will take the show’s cast from their high school graduation to full-fledged adulthood, with a gap that allows major character changes for characters in a far more organic way. Compare your 18 and 25 year old selves; would one recognize the other?
Inspired by this time jump, we wanted to ask: of the other shows that we cover, which would be the most fun to see shoot into the future? For some context as to our choices, we picked shows that we both cover, and we presume will get another season beyond its current one (and we are discounting shows that haven’t yet begun, like Superman and Lois or Falcon and the Winter Soldier). We really wanted to include WandaVision in the list, but couldn’t figure out how exactly that would work.
