Last week, the comics world lost one of their own when Carlos Pacheco succumbed to ALS just shy of his 61st birthday. Pacheco was a regular presence in superhero comics for approximately 30 years, doing work at both Marvel and DC, and establishing himself as a regular contributor for folks like Kurt Busiek and Jeph Loeb. Whether or not you know you did, if you’ve been reading mainstream comics over the past three decades, you likely came into contact with Pacheco’s work.
And so, much like we did for Kevin O’Neill last week, we want to know which Pacheco work is your favorite. He had long periods of time with Superman, the X-books, the Ultimate line, as well as on Avengers titles. But he also would pop up for a few issues here and there on a ton of great comics, always elevating them with his work.
So, vote in the poll, and check back on Monday for the results. Thank you Carlos for all the great comics you left behind.
