Earlier this month, DC laid out its release schedule for a number of new and revamped titles for the first half of 2022. Spinning out of “Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths,” “Batman vs Robin,” and “Lazarus Planet,” the ‘Dawn of DC’ is a year-long initiative to refresh the DCU. While some titles appear to be continuing without incident, at least for now (“The Flash,” “Nightwing,” “Wonder Woman”), a good chunk of the DCU is getting a new coat of pant.
The most major revamp is coming to the Superman books, which will see a new Clark Kent-led “Superman” title, a Superman family-focused “Action Comics,” and new series focused on Jon Kent, Conner Kent, and Natasha and Henry Irons. But there will also be new books for characters that haven’t seen their own titles in a few years and some exciting creative teams, though there are also creator-less announcements that usually spell editorial versus creator driven titles. We’ll let you guess how we feel about that.
But for now, let’s be optimistic: which of these titles are you most jazzed about? Vote in the poll below, and check back on Monday for the results!
