Reader Poll: What Was the Best DCEU Film?

As of the release of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom back in December, the door is officially closed on the DCEU (let’s just ignore Peacemaker Season 2 for now). 15 films came out under the (unofficial) DCEU banner since 2013’s Man of Steel, as well as the ‘Snyder Cut’ of Justice League. Some of those were beloved, while others went over like lead balloons. Now that it is in our rearview, it’s time to ask: what was the best film of the DCEU?

Speaking just as one voter and not as the voice of Multiversity, there are four clear tiers of the DCEU. There are the ‘fun’ films: Birds of Prey, Shazam!, Blue Beetle, and The Suicide Squad. There are the ‘important’ films, the ones that set and re-set the course of the line: Wonder Woman, Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, and Man of Steel. There are the sequels that barely got noticed: every sequel that isn’t Dawn of Justice. And then there are the flops: Suicide Squad, Black Adam, The Flash. Surprisingly, the only film that really doesn’t fit into a category is Aquaman, which sort of sits between the flops, the fun, and the important ones.

All of that is to say that Birds of Prey gets my vote. But what gets yours? Vote in our Reader Poll, and check back on Monday for the results!
