Sixty years ago, the world met Nick Fury in the pages of “Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos” #1. Since then, the character has ebbed and flowed in terms of Marvel’s usage and popularity, but Fury is never too far from the Marvel universe. Since appearing in Iron Man, Fury has been one of the cornerstones of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well, something that continues with the upcoming Secret Invasion series and this autumn’s The Marvels. What’s interesting about Fury is just how much the character has changed based on era, writer, artist, and editorial mandate.

And so, we want to know, which of those Fury runs/eras/iterations is your favorite. Take a look at our list, curated by our news manager Christopher, and vote for the one comic that you think is the best. Then, circle back on Monday to see what your fellow Multiversity readers chose. Enjoy the weekend, friends!
