This weekend sees the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the final chapter in the GotG trilogy helmed by James Gunn. The reviews have been pretty good, with early audiences going gaga over the film. And while we are interested in the film – look for our review on Monday – today, we’re more interested in the source material and, specifically, the various characters who have been Guardians of the Galaxy over the years. And so, we must ask – who is the G.G.O.T.G.O.A.T.*?
There are obviously the characters immortalized in the film series, but let’s look beyond those for a moment. For comic readers of a certain age, Adam Warlock, Nikki Gold, or Vance Astro will always be the character that springs to mind when that team name is evoked.
