Reader Poll: What Do You Think of Vertical Scrolling Comics?

If you’re a regular reader of webcomics, scrolling vertically through comics, as opposed to flipping through or having a guided view, panel by panel, like comiXology offers, is not a new concept. But over the past few weeks, we’ve seen an increase in the number of creators and platforms offering their work in a scrolling format. From Substack newsletters to DC’s new partnership with WEBtoons to the recently rejiggered Marvel Unlimited, the act of reading comics vertically are becoming more of the norm.

Now, for comic reviewers, this is nothing new, as we’ve often had to read review copies this way, but for the average fan, it’s likely a new experience, unless you’re a dedicated webcomic reader. So, what we want to know is this: do you like it? Is this better than the guided view? Does it make the experience worse? Do you not have a preference?

Let us know how you feel and check back on Monday for the results!
