Today marks the premiere of Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi series, and the release of the first seven chapters of Stranger Things 4, a pleasant coincidence that left us wondering: what if the two had a crossover? Star Wars doesn’t really do crossovers, but it’s not like Lucasfilm have been against doing them: Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross have both previously revealed the company was interested in having a Superman crossover at Dark Horse, which is how the featured artwork came about. (Not to mention they’re still happy to approve parodies like the Phineas and Ferb special.)

But what do you think? Should Star Wars remain above the kind of shenanigans Star Trek, Transformers, Alien et al. engage in, or do you believe it doesn’t matter what kind of precedent such a comic book might set for the films and TV shows? Be sure to vote in our poll below, and feel free to elaborate in the comments before the results on Monday. And in the meantime, please enjoy Obi-Wan and Stranger Things, as well as the news from Star Wars Celebration, during the long weekend!

There’s a lot of nostalgia behind the original X-Men: The […]
