Reader Poll: Which Webcomic Should Have Won the 2018 Eisner Award?

This month, we began our webcomics coverage in earnest. Sure, we’ve dabbled in he past, but this month marked our desire to bring webcomics more to the forefront of what we do here at Multiveristy. And so, a webcomics themed Reader Poll seemed like a perfect way to close our our first month of in-depth coverage.

But where to start?

The webcomics world can be daunting in its scope and scale, so we wanted to keep it simple. Though they were announced back in July, we turned to the Eisner Awards, one of the truest indicators of what the industry itself thinks is worth spotlighting. These five webcomics were, according to Eisner voters, the best the past year had to offer. Whether or not you agree with that is one thing, but let’s put that aside for now. Which of these, to you, deserved the honor? Vote in the poll, and let us know in the comments why you voted the way you did!

Which webcomic should have won the Eisner this year?

On Friday, we asked our readers which of the three newly announced second wave of ‘From the Ashes’ X-Men books was the most appealing: “NYX,” “Phoenix,” or “X-Force.” Each of these books has an interesting hook that sets it apart from both the other two announced titles, as well as from the other X-books of […]

Reader Poll: What is Your Most Anticipated Second Wave ‘From the Ashes’ X-Men Title?

    By and | Apr 12, 2024 | Reader Poll

Much like we did when the first three were announced, we are interested in our readers’ take on the next three ‘From the Ashes’ X-Men titles. This is a massive reset over the past four years of the Krakoa era that was shepherded in by Jonathan Hickman. This lineup seems a little less purposely cohesive, […]
