The only reason I don't love web comics, David, is because I usually forget to check them, and then I get so far behind and get intimidated about taking the time to catch up.

Which is why I have no idea what's going on in Freak Angels anymore. Hahaha. But if more web comics like that were put into trade, I'd be inclined to pick them up!

I second Tom's picks, especially "Marooned," and heartily suggest (at the risk of seeming redundant) all of the comics on our "Webcomics We Love" blogroll.

There's a lot of great stuff out there, and it's really good to see alternatives to the mostly boring superhero fare and other stuff the big guys put out.

Try looking up Gunnerkrigg Court by Tom Siddell, Moon Town by Steve Ogden, Rice Boy by Evan Dahm or Runners Universe by Sean Wang (formerly of The Tick).

I've never understood why you don't like web comics. I'd say Karl Kerschl's The Abominable Charles Christopher is better than almost every comic I read, save a few.

I'll check this out though.
