At Emerald City ComiCon, Multiversity editors Brian Salvatore, David Harper and Matthew Meylikhov teamed up to help you get to know some of your favorite creators a little bit better in our Five Questions video series (which you may remember from NYCC 2013). The fourth question required some comic knowledge, as we asked, “What lower tier character – non Batman and Spider-Man characters – is one you personally love?” We asked more creators than ever, but the answers were never less than amazing. The creators we talked to were:

– Chad Bowers, Chris Sims and Scott Kowalchuk (Down Set Fight)
– Ryan Ferrier (D4VE)
– Curt Pires (POP)
– Tim Seeley (Revival)
– Fred Van Lente and Ryan Dunlavey (Action Philosophers!)
– Chris Sebela (Dead Letters)
– Patric Reynolds (Aliens)
– Joelle Jones (Helheim)
– Nick Pitarra (The Manhattan Projects)
– Chris Burnham (Nameless)
– Michael Avon Oeming (The Victories)
– Jonathan Case (Batman ’66)
– Paul Tobin and Colleen Coover (Bandette)
– Steve Lieber (Superior Foes of Spider-Man)
– Sara Ryan (Bad Houses)
– Benjamin Dewey (Tragedy Series)
– Rob Guillory (Chew)
– Steve Orlando (Undertow)
– Jim Zub (Skullkickers)
– Tim Daniel (Curse)

Seriously. What a list. We’ll be back Monday with the final question, but if you enjoy these videos, let us know. We love doing them.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."

Brian Salvatore

Brian Salvatore is an editor, podcaster, reviewer, writer at large, and general task master at Multiversity. When not writing, he can be found playing music, hanging out with his kids, or playing music with his kids. He also has a dog named Lola, a rowboat, and once met Jimmy Carter. Feel free to email him about good beer, the New York Mets, or the best way to make Chicken Parmagiana (add a thin slice of prosciutto under the cheese).
