Two of the most personable creators we met at Emerald City ComiCon were Chew‘s John Layman and Phonogram‘s Kieron Gillen. We’d interviewed the two of them before and have always really enjoyed their work, and it was a blast to meet the two of them in person. They even were right next to each other, so that was a bonus as well.
Of course, given that Brandon and I are completely ridiculous and that both of them sketched a little something while signing what we brought with us, we came up with the idea of getting the two of them to let us film an art battle between the two writers. Surprisingly enough they were both game, even though it was our first time filming anything at the Con and the simple fact that we were completely bush league. What resulted is below, and we are quite entertained by it. Hopefully you will be as well.
