While at Emerald City Comic Con with David I was lucky enough to sit down with one of my all time favorite creators – Mike Allred! You know Mike Allred from his work on Madman and X-Statix and on May 5th you’ll know him for his work on I, Zombie. This interview was one of the highlights of the con for me as well as a great learning experience, as Mike was my very first in person interview. He was an amazingly nice man and a great interview.
To get the interview I had to post up at he back of his line wearing a sign (you’ll see the sign in the interview) and had to tell people that I was the last person. In the end it was more than worth it to get the time to sit down with such an original creator. I was also lucky to be able to bring you the readers here at MC news on the future of Madman and X-Statix! Thanks again to Mike and to Jamie Rich who helped to make this interview happen.
