New York Comic Con, the East Coast’s largest comics and pop culture event of the year, happened two weeks ago. Multiversity brought 15 staffers to the convention this year for interviews, panel reports, and more. Over the next month or so, we’ll be sharing all of our experiences here on the site. So, even if you couldn’t make it yourself, you can see the con through our eyes.

Rob Sheridan is the former art director for Nine Inch Nails, and was a huge part of their Year Zero album and multimedia project. Sheridan’s first comic is 2019’s “High Level,” which debuts for DC/Vertigo in February, with art by Barnaby Bagenda (“The Omega Men,” “Suicide Squad”). The book is a ‘post-post-apocalyptic’ story, and our senior editor Brian Salvatore spoke to him about the genesis of the project, as well as Sheridan’s personal history with comics.

Thanks to Rob and DC for making this interview happen, and look out for “High Level” #1 in February of 2019.
