New York City Comic Con may have happened more than a month ago but Multiversity Comics’s coverage of the East Coast’s largest comics and pop culture event is just getting going. Multiversity sent 14 of our staff to the event this year for interviews, panel reports, and more so expect lots more to come over the next few weeks. This way, even if you couldn’t make it yourself, you can still see the con through our eyes.

Dinesh Shamdasani was the guy behind the relaunch of Valiant Comics in 2012. The Valiant relaunch is, perhaps, the most successful revival in some time, and Dinesh’s vision and tenacity is why those comics worked so well, and are still being published today. After his exit from Valiant, along with fellow former Valiant employee Hunter Gorinson, Shamdasani launched Hivemind, a media company with an impressive resume for a young company: Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, The Expanse, Bloodshot, and lots more. The duo talks with us about upcoming properties (Work with EC Comics, Gideon Falls, and more) and get you hyped for their future in film, television, and yes, comics.

Thanks to Dinesh and Hunter for making time at New York Comic Con to talk to us. You can follow Dinesh and Hunter on Twitter (@dinesh_s and @hgorinson), and be on the lookout for more from Hivemind in the not too distant future.
