New York City Comic Con may have happened close to a month ago but Multiversity Comics’s coverage of the East Coast’s largest comics and pop culture event is just getting going. Multiversity sent 14 of our staff to the event this year for interviews, panel reports, and more so expect lots more to come over the next few weeks. This way, even if you couldn’t make it yourself, you can still see the con through our eyes.

Jorge Corona is no stranger to the site. We interviewed him last year before the explosive start to his, Skottie Young, Jean-Francois Beaulieu, and Nate Piekos’s Midwest-inspired fantasy comic “Middlewest.” He’s also the artist on “No. 1 with a Bullet,” “Goners” and creator of “Feathers” as well as one of the artists on the short-lived “We Are Robin.” Jake and Elias sat down with Jorge at NYCC to discuss with him the new heights the series has gone to, fathers and sons, the expansion of the world, as well as the power of a story with a finite ending.

Thanks again to Jorge for sitting down with us! Arc three may not kick off until December but the end of arc two is already out! Be sure to pick up issue #12 of “Middlewest” now or Book 2 (#7-12) on November 20th from your local comics retailer.

Elias Rosner

Elias is a lover of stories who, when he isn't writing reviews for Mulitversity, is hiding in the stacks of his library. Co-host of Make Mine Multiversity, a Marvel podcast, after winning the no-prize from the former hosts, co-editor of The Webcomics Weekly, and writer of the Worthy column, he can be found on Twitter (for mostly comics stuff) here and has finally updated his profile photo again.
