New York City Comic Con may have happened more than a month ago but Multiversity Comics’s coverage of the East Coast’s largest comics and pop culture event is just getting going. Multiversity sent 14 of our staff to the event this year for interviews, panel reports, and more so expect lots more to come over the next few weeks. This way, even if you couldn’t make it yourself, you can still see the con through our eyes.

In the second half of our interview with New York-based webcomic artist Tony Wolf (here’s Part 1 if you missed it yesterday), Tony chats with Multiversity Social Media Manager Kate Kosturski about how some of his curiosities – – from Italian desserts to a name on a ferry – – have led to outlets such as The New York Times and The New Statesman showcasing some of his works. You may not want to watch this segment on an empty stomach.

Our thanks again to Tony for his time and a very thoughtful, in-depth discussion. Check out his comics for the New York Times showcasing the McRib, the tartufo, and the squab, as well as his comic in The New Statesman paying homage to Moira Smith, the only female member of the NYPD to perish on 9/11. (Local New York TV station WPIX also had a story near this year’s 9/11 anniversary about Smith and Tony’s comic.) You can follow Tony on Twitter at @tonywolfness.
