New York City Comic Con may have happened more than a month ago but Multiversity Comics’s coverage of the East Coast’s largest comics and pop culture event is just getting going. Multiversity sent 14 of our staff to the event this year for interviews, panel reports, and more so expect lots more to come over the next few weeks. This way, even if you couldn’t make it yourself, you can still see the con through our eyes.

“Wonder Twins” began its life as a six-issue miniseries as part of Brian Michael Bendis’s ‘Wonder Comics’ imprint. However, the combination of excellent storytelling and fan excitement saw the series grow to 12 issues. Today, the first volume is available to purchase, and so we are sharing with your our chat with writer Mark Russell (“The Flintstones,” “Second Coming”) and artist Stephen Byrne (“Green Arrow,” “Justice League/Power Rangers”). The duo discusses the balance in tone that is required to take Superfriends characters to comics, and lots, lots more.

Thanks to Mark and Stephen for taking the time to chat with us at NYCC. You can follow both fine creators on Twitter (@StephenByrne86 and @ManRuss), and make sure to pick up “Wonder Twins,” in singles or collected, in finer comic shops everywhere.
