Multiversity 101: We’re a Year Old…Now What?

In the past year, Multiversity has grown by leaps and bounds. We’ve added new writers, created a bunch of new columns, reviewed damn near everything that was reviewable, talked to a laundry list of creators, and become a small but viable voice in the world of comic criticism. We’re young, but we sure try hard.

This year hopefully will bring a number of things: an extensive redesign, more writers, more interesting columns, the continuing broadening of our reading horizons, and developing relationships with more publishers. The publishers and contacts we deal with regularly have been fantastic, and I’d love to give a shout out to them…Ron Perazza and Jessica Numsuwankijkul from Zuda Comics, Chip Mosher from Boom! Studios, Christine Dinh from Top Cow, Mark Seifert at Avatar Press, Gianluca Glazer from Radical Comics, the team at Dark Horse Comics, and last but not least, the awesome Mel Caylo from Archaia…you’ve all been awesome and we really appreciate your support in the first year.

While we like what we’re doing, we don’t ever want to become stagnant. This is where I want to open things up to you, the readers. What do you like that we’re doing? What do you not like? What can we improve on? What would you like to see more of? If there is anything at all you have to suggest to us, whether it’s positive or negative, tell us. We want to become a better site for all of you. Leave it in the comments or feel free to email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

Regardless of your comments, I just have this to say: thanks for reading, and we’ll keep writing if you keep reading.
