Art of the Week (2/7 – 2/13)

This week’s Art of the Week has a superb list of contributors, ranging from the typical Twarters and Periscopians to the very surprising and talented more indie centric creators. That includes work from one of my absolute favorite artists, Massimo Carnevale, as he put together a rendition of “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford” that is both spellbinding and completely gorgeous.

Carnevale is one of the most underrated talents in the business, and his blog is a great one to see if you’re a fan of incredible art.

Check out the rest of my picks after the jump.

The Black Adam Family (or the Khandaq Krew) vs. Team Namor by Evan Shaner

Bear Fight! (or Let the Ewok Win) by Dan Hipp

Red Robin vs. Deathstroke by Freddie Williams III

Silver Age X-Men by Colleen Coover

Betty Draper vs. Pigeons by Jonathan Case

Dystopian Boy Cyclops by Farel Dalrymple

Pulp Doom Patrol by Francesco Francavilla
